Description: Sloping sandy reef

Depth: 12 to 26 metres (40 to 85 feet)

Visibility: 40 metres (130 feet)

This is one of the best dive sites on Rarotonga. There is a 'river' of sand sloping down the reef from 12 to 26 metres before it reaches a steep drop off that falls away to hundreds of metres. The coral reef either side of the sandy channel is home to plenty of reef fish and on the wall it is possible to see some bigger pelagics.
