Dive Site: Tunnel

Location: Desroches Island, Seychelles

Description: Reef dive from a boat

Depth: 25 metres (80 feet)

Visibility: 12 metres (40 feet)

We descended through a hole in the reef into a tunnel which was full of fish and one baby shark. We came out at the bottom and took the reef on our left. There were lots of caverns with some very tame fish who kept still to be photographed. We saw lyretail grouper, puffers, trevallies and morays, and gradually ascended until we came to a finger of rock and swam under it into a cavern containing a big lobster. We moved up to the top of the reef and saw lots of coral full of little crabs, two scorpionfish and another lobster.
