Dive Site: Dolphin House
Location: Moalboal, Cebu
Description: Shallow reef and deep wall
Depth: 6 - 25 metres in shallows (20 - 82 feet), wall drops away into the depths

Dolphin House is located a short distance from the shoreline on the west coast of Cebu Island and dived from Moalboal by taking a short (10 minute) boat ride to the north. As with most diving off the coast of Moalboal this site is a deep wall dive however, despite the name, we didn't see any dolphins on our dives here. Perhaps the reef would be more aptly named if it were known as "Turtle Reef" as we saw several here, both free-swimming and eating in the upper reef. Again current is a consideration here but due to the nature of Filipino diving in this area (separate boat drop and pick-ups) can be used for great drift diving. Once down the deep walls vertical drop we simply drifted along with the current, ascending throughout the dive back to the top slope, where antheas, fusiliers, tang and a multitude of other small fish life densely covered the plateaus hard corals.
