This is an artifical reef in front of the Mabul resort. A boat and block towers have been made up out of planks of wood and rope to create this. We descended down to the tower where we were greeted by a large cuttlefish.. I am a bit dubious to understand how this cuttlefish has found home here. I have a feeling someone has put him there along with the frogfish we also saw.. it is a shame if this is the case. However a large school of jacks have made home in this area and circle round and through the man-made structures. It is a real contrast to Sipidan. Watch out for a viscious triggerfish who went for and got my buddy about 3 times.. ouch. A huge grouper lives here too. The frogfish were found high up on some makeshift houses. I wouldn't rush back to do this dive as it seemed very un-natural even though it homes interesting marine life.
