Dive Site: Meno Wall

A hard boat dive in between the small islands of Gili T and Gili Meno, where there are strong currents running. Getting to the site was a little choppy but well worth it. We saw lots of turtles on this dive, generally larger than the Red Sea, as well as lots of tropical fish; large angels, butterfly etc as well as shrimp and starfish. The wall of the reef is just beautiful with wonderful colours. We dived during July in shorties, with Dream Divers located on Gili Trawangan, the island is accessable by boat from Lombok. This can be done as a day trip, although it's a long day with an early start.

Even if you saw Meno Wall wich is magnificent, you missed the nicest dives in Gili Trawangan wich would be Manta Point, or Air Slop in Gili Air. I've been working in Gili Trawangan as a diving instroctor for 2 years. It is the nicest place on earth. You actually don't need any suit for holidayers as at 30m it is 34°C.
