Dive Site: The Wall

Location: Ammousa Bay, 10 minutes from Vassiliki Bay by boat, Lefkas, Greece

Description: Reef dive

Depth: 25 metres max (80 feet)

Visibility: 20 metres max (65 feet)

We entered the water from a rib and descended to 5 metres, then continued to swim along the edge of the wall. Once at the edge we began a descent to 25 metres where there is a cave packed with thousands of shrimps in one big swarm. We continued our dive along the wall in the sunlight, watching a school of about fifty barracuda patrolling just over the ledge.
