Dive Site: The Plantation Pinnacles
Location: Mamanuca
Description: Reef / wall
Depth: 26 metres (85 feet)
Visibility: 25 metres (80 feet)
Rating: ****
After leaving the boat I descended down the shot line to reach the seabed. The Pinnacles were a short swim across the sand, where it was possible to do many circuits around them at different levels. There is a swim through at the bottom of the Pinnacles. Perhaps the most beautiful level is at the top where there are hundreds of single band anemone fish, chromis and a large moray. There were some very beautiful coral formations including soft coral and black coral in an interesting underwater landscape that rises from the sea floor to about 16 metres.

This dive site is lovely. There are lionfish, stonefish and various types of shrimp and nudibranch if you get close up and a plethora of fish from anthias to trevally if you zoom out!
