Another fantastic site with hammerheads all over the place. I rate this one as third best after Dirty Rock and Alcyone. We dropped to about 22m and just stayed there for the duration of the dive watching sharks come and go. For a brief moment when there were no sharks to watch I noticed there are lots of crabs living underneath the sea urchins, obviously using them for protection. We also got treated to a hunting hammerhead and a hunting tuna - both incredibly impressive an agile as they shot through the water. I spotted a white tip which was heavily pregnant. At the end of the dive we headed off into the blue and found a wall of hammerheads to swim with until we surfaced.
On one of the boat trips out to this site we saw a humpback whale mother with its calf. I was just praying that we would get a glimpse of it from under water and spent most of my dive looking towards the surface, but unfortunately it never happened. Seeing them from the surface was impressive enough however! We also heard dolphins on almost every dive, but again they never showed while we were under the water.
