The walk to the pool is quite a hike, but well worth the effort. It is in beautiful surroundings and you can sit underneath the waterfalls with the water cascading over you, which is a fantastic experience. There are a few pools to explore, which are rich in life. As you descend down the pool walls, look out for fresh water shrimps, larvae and snails.

A really interesting dive in this small waterfall pool. I was surprised to find a lot of life including many reasonably sized shrimps and snails stuck to the wall. It was fun to surface under the waterfall and get pushed out by the force of the water. There were also many transparent zooplankton type shrimps.
It was sad to find out later that two young brothers had drowned here the previous summer while swimming as one tried to help the other.
