Dive Site: Horseshoe Reef

Location: Bermuda

Description: Reef

Depth: 12 metres (40 feet)

Visibility: 15 - 20 metres (50 - 65 feet)

Rating: *

A sandy seabed surrounded by a reef in the shape of a horseshoe. This dive site was fairly devoid of life with little of interest to explore around and within the reef itself. This was a self-guided dive due to the quantity of divers on the boat and limited dive guides, which is fine if you're paired with a buddy of similar dive experience, instead I was given two incompetent 'experienced' divers to lead around an unknown site. A disappointing site to explore when there are so many decent wrecks in close proximity.
